A Retirement Home and Senior Care for Older Adults

For the Hayes Residence, we painted landscape scenes of Minnesota across the walls of a large basement level activity room. The room has semi-private "retreat" rooms for residents' use, so we painted Minnesota scenery that would be ideal to host a retreat. Ranging from the North Shore of Lake Superior, to a lakes region in central Minnesota, down through the Mississippi River valley to the east, and the rolling plains and corn fields in the Southwestern part of the state. Within the landscapes, viewers can discover wildlife common to each regions. Fish, deer, foxes, a pheasant, as well as many other fauna can be found, some more hidden than others, with the flora of the flowing landscapes.
